“Beyond the Call…”

A leading financial planning and management corporation enrolled in PinnacleCare in 2005 to serve the health care needs of their top executives. Through their PinnacleCare membership, each executive and his family received their own personal PinnacleCare Advocate, along with a variety of wellness and emergency services.

One executive and his wife recently had their first Executive Physical with PinnacleCare and were delighted with the results. In an e-mail to her PinnacleCare Advocate, the Member exclaimed, “what a wonderful experience!!!!! We cannot say enough great things about the entire day.”

The day began when the Members were met by a PinnacleCare representative at their chosen Center of Excellence, as well as the Johns Hopkins’ representative who was assigned to them for the entire day. Their schedule for the day moved along efficiently and on schedule.

The Members were extremely pleased with all of their doctors. They sang their first doctor’s praises as “a great, personable, and obviously knowledgeable man. We had many things in common, such as our love of skiing.” By the end of their visit, the physician had printed information on a book for them to review, as well as other informative books that he thought would be helpful. He also spent meaningful personal time with the husband to explain, in detail, his diabetes condition and the recommended treatment.

The female Member had an appointment with another doctor for a consultation about pain that she has been experiencing in her knees. The Member described him as, “wonderful and most accommodating.” He was able to quickly diagnose the Member’s problem and gave her a prescription for an anti-inflammatory drug, as well as physical therapy.

After returning home, the Members met with their friends and colleagues and found themselves, “raving about the program.”

A few months later, the family’s teenage son left home to travel out west to attend his freshman year at college. He is now in his second year at school and the family’s PinnacleCare Advocate has continued to advocate for the Member, facilitating physician’s appointments, as well as providing emotional support for his first years away from home.

The family has also been impressed at the variety of benefits that their PinnacleCare membership offers. “Our PinnacleCare Advocate has provided us with service that was ‘beyond the call.’ Before we went on an 11 day cruise to Italy and the Greek Isles, we were given a detailed Medical Intelligence Report that included doctors, hospitals, phone numbers, addresses, and more for each location that we were visiting. Thankfully we never had to use this, but it did give us a certain peace of mind while traveling abroad. We look forward to another report from PinnacleCare as we travel abroad again this summer.”

The Members recently summed up their feelings in this email sent to their Advocate:

“By the way, I don’t know if I told you but we got our PinnacleCare Keys and they are amazing!!!! We are so impressed and can’t say enough about PinnacleCare AND YOU in particular! God works in strange ways and when (our company) signed on with you, little did we know how much we would need you. Thanks again and let’s stay in touch.”
